A comprehensive win with Kaid Mohamed netting a hat trick and first league goals of the season for Sacha Walters and Lewis Holmes.

We attacked from the off and won an early corner after Kaid Mohamed had a shot turned away by the keeper. Again on 6 minutes another Kaid shot was turned behind for a corner which h Cwmamman cleared. Noah Daley won the ball and played a 1-2 with Kaid Mohamed before cutting in and shooting just past the post. Again, Noah was in on goal but again the keeper saved his shot. Kaid Mohamed was unlucky on 16 minutes when he picked up a loose ball beat a defender but his shot from 25 yards hit the post. The goal that our attacking play threatened finally came on 26 minutes, Noah Daley again had a shot turned away for a corner and Sean Hanbury’s cross was perfect for Kaid Mohamed to head in from a couple of yards. Cwmamman responded once we had scored but in a rare attack Luke Williams shot wide. We went two up on 42 minutes when Bradley Flay played a ball over the defence for Kaid Mohamed to run on too and lift the ball over the keeper. In a repeat move Noah Daley made it 3-0 on 44 minutes when he lashed the ball in giving the keeper no chance. 3-0 at half time with little threat from Cwmamman was a good base for the second half. But for Dylan Thomas in the Cwmamman goal the score could have been far more at the break.

Inside the first 5 minutes of the second half Bradley Flay again picked up a loose ball and found Noah Daley but his shot went just wide. Then Sean Hanbury was closed down by the keeper who blocked his shot. In a rare response Steve Cann tipped over a shot to give Cwmamman a corner which we cleared. They say Sacha Walters doesn’t score tap ins and his first league goal of the season was anything but. He picked up the ball 40 yards out , made some ground before hitting a screamer from 30 yards giving Thomas no chance. On 61 minutes Noah Daley cut in from the left and was fouled just inside the area. Kaid Mohamed took the penalty and scored to seal his hat trick. We made 3 substitutions and went 6 -0 up on 74 minutes, a Lido corner was cleared and picked up by Patrick Finneral who played it left to Jack Hurley, Jack’s cross was perfect for Sean Hanbury to head in from a couple of yards.
