We defeated Goytre United with Josh Webber coming off the bench to score the only goal with 2 minutes remaining. Both sides had chances to win the game but generally it was a poor game with the sides cancelling each other out

As befits a second v third match this was an entertaining encounter with both sides playing good football. Cambrian knocked the ball around confidently but found the Lido defence in top form. Chances at both ends were limited and it was a surprise when Cambrian took the lead midway through the first half. It appeared a Lido player was pushed to the ground but no foul was given, from the resulting corner the ball was placed in and no-one in the Lido defence took charge and the ball appeared to go into the goal off a Lido player but it wasn’t clear cut. We reached the interval conceding just the one goal and replaced Josh Webber with Norton Ferreira for the second half. Despite not conceding a second Lido didn’t look like scoring either, further changes were made with Chris Jones and Ieuan Owen taking the field. Ieuan had two great chances but couldn’t find the net but Lido kept pressing. It looked as though they earned a penalty for hand ball but there was no reaction from the referee. John Hall was then sent off for comments he made then with 4 minutes to go Ieuan Owen got the better of the defender and latched on to a through ball to slip it past the keeper. Cambrian pushed forward to try and regain the lead but despite 7 minutes of added time they were unable to breech the Lido defence with keeper Exauce Dimonekene outstanding

Lido staged a late recovery to maintain the 100% start to the season. For long periods Ammanford adapted better to the conditions and were the better side. However, three late goals turned the game on it’s head.

Against the run of play Lido took the lead on 35 minutes when Liam Griffiths played the ball through for Josh Webber to outpace the defence and wrong foot the keeper to score. However sloppy defending from a corner allowed Adam John to level on 42 minutes.

Attacking the clubhouse end in the second half Ammanford missed several chances before Tristan Jenkins put them ahead on 52 minutes. Ammanford continued to make and miss chances, On 62 minutes Brad Flay replaced Chris Jones and Ieuan Owen and Norton Ferreira replaced Ioan Evans and Sacha Walters respectively on 76 minutes. Lido now started making inroads into the Ammanford area without really looking dangerous. Liam Griffiths then equalised with a close range effort in the 83rd minute.  Lido continued to press forward as the rain and wind relented for a while, John Hall hit a long range effort which somehow went in to give the Lido the lead on 87 minutes. Ammanford were shocked by this turn around but couldn’t now find a way through an improved Lido defence. There was 12 minutes of added time and Ieuan Owen made the game safe for the Lido with a goal in the 96^th minute. Somehow out of the jaws of defeat Lido manged to get over the line to secure all three points to maintain their 100% record.

Despite 3 players being unavailable Lido still picked up three points at Abergavenny. Lido took the lead just before half time with a Sacha Walters drive from the edge of the area. Abergavenny equalised on 59 minutes with a long ball over the top allowing their player to run through to score. Following a series of substitutions Lido started to take control and Liam Griffiths restored the lead with a header from a corner on 72 minutes. As the half wore on Lido created several chances, Ioan Evans had a powerful shot blocked on the line and Chris Jones shot inches wide.
