Against the run of play Lido took the lead on 35 minutes when Liam Griffiths played the ball through for Josh Webber to outpace the defence and wrong foot the keeper to score. However sloppy defending from a corner allowed Adam John to level on 42 minutes.
Attacking the clubhouse end in the second half Ammanford missed several chances before Tristan Jenkins put them ahead on 52 minutes. Ammanford continued to make and miss chances, On 62 minutes Brad Flay replaced Chris Jones and Ieuan Owen and Norton Ferreira replaced Ioan Evans and Sacha Walters respectively on 76 minutes. Lido now started making inroads into the Ammanford area without really looking dangerous. Liam Griffiths then equalised with a close range effort in the 83rd minute. Lido continued to press forward as the rain and wind relented for a while, John Hall hit a long range effort which somehow went in to give the Lido the lead on 87 minutes. Ammanford were shocked by this turn around but couldn’t now find a way through an improved Lido defence. There was 12 minutes of added time and Ieuan Owen made the game safe for the Lido with a goal in the 96th minute. Somehow out of the jaws of defeat Lido manged to get over the line to secure all three points to maintain their 100% record.
