With several new signings and returnees on show we held to much power for Baglan Dragons in our league cup tie. The returning Cai Owens gave us the lead after 7 minutes, Liam Griffiths doubled the lead on 20 minutes and Brandon Roberts made it three on 22 minutes. That’s how it stayed until Baglan scored directly from a corner on 54 minutes but any hope of a comeback was dashed on 66 minutes when Ioan Evans netted our fourth. The icing on the cake arrived in added on time when young Zane Trott scored his first goal for the club and the fifth on the night.
