The football season starts next Saturday with a league cup tie away at Ysrad Mynach against Risca United. The game will be played behind closed doors as per the current guidelines.

Lewis Ridd
Best of luck tom former Academy goalkeeper Lewis Ridd as he sets off to Ipswich Town to begin his scolarship.
More signings
We’ve signed several newcomers for next season, Ben Keen, Harry Jenkins and Morgan Thomas. While Brad Flay, Steve Morris, Jay Thomas and Sam Hodge have all re-signed and it’s a welcome back to Taylor Evans, Joe Jones and Cai Owens.
Two signings
Aaron Jones who was our youth team goalkeeper a couple of seasons ago and made his first team debut has signed for the coming season from Porthcawl Town. Also on board is another former youth team player, Ioan Clatworthy, the midfielder has signed from Cefn Cribbwr.
Finneral double earns point
Patrick Finneral gave the Youth an early lead but then saw a penalty saved. To add insult to injury Village went down to equalise. Despite putting the Village defence under pressure they broke and took the lead. Jay Thomas and Finneral saw efforts well saved by the keeper but Finneral hit a screamer from 30 yards to level the scores and give the side a well deserved point.
Fixture reversed
Next Saturday’s reserve game against Goytre Utd has been switched to the Marston’s Stadium, kick off is 2.30
