Another win for the youth
The youth defeated Pontardawe 5-1 with Morgan Freeman and Noah Daley both netting twice with Azeem Arshad completing the scoring.
Double for Jonah
Somehow it was goalless at half time, we missed chance after chance in the first half. Llantwit Major scored straight from the second half kick off. Mark Jones levelled from the penalty spot and within minutes put us 2-1 up. Chris Hartland made it 3 with 10 minutes to go. Llantwit Major pulled one back with a minute of normal time remaining and in a furious final minute Rory McCreesh tipped the ball over the bar and from the resultant corner we managed to clear several goalbound efforts beforeĀ clearing the ball out of the area and within seconds the final whistle sounded.
Disappointing day at the office
We lost 5-0 to Undy Athletic on Saturday when virtually everything went wrong. We conceded an early penalty and we’re 3 down before we knew it. To compound matters Owen Williams was correctly sent off but the Undy player involved could also have seen red but didn’t even get a card. Two further goals in the second half just added to the gloom, it’s now up the the players to pick themselves up for the next game.
Big win for the Youth
The Youth defeated Ely Rangers 8-1 with Noah Daley, Jake Simeone and Luke Evans all scoring twice, substitutes Connor Thomas and Morgan Bevan also found the target.
